1) Why proptech? What excites you about it?

It's not all about numbers and big picture facts. For me, proptech is ultimately about the small things - the air we breathe, the light we look at, and the spaces where we live, work, and create memories. I am excited about proptech because it offers a chance to move from a 'build it and they will come' mentality to a more sustainable, occupant-centric and liveable real estate sector.

Over the course of my life, I have lived in many different places. Experiencing different countries, neighborhoods, and homes taught me the profound impact that real estate has on our daily routines, well-being, and even sense of belonging and community. This connection drives my commitment to help address the challenges real estate is facing and make a positive impact on people's lives. Buildings are not just structures, they shape each of our lives and our planet on a global scale.

3) How will you move the industry forward?

In everything I do, I believe that people should be front and center and that collaboration is a key driver of innovation. However, collaboration is often easier said than done. I have witnessed first hand - both when running startup accelerators and when supporting large corporates in their innovation journey - that at times there is a need for a 'bridge' that helps bring together different sides of the table. PropTech Denmark is such a bridge.

4) What do you hope to achieve with our community?

Overall, success for me would be PropTech Denmark being a community that is not just growing but also becoming more interconnected. A place where members feel comfortable going directly to each other for support, ideas, and inspiration.

5) What should members reach out to you about?

Reach out to me with anything related to your membership. My aim is to make sure that PropTech Denmark adds value to all of our members, and as such, my door, phone, and inbox are always open to your questions, ideas, and feedback.

And for extra bonus points, I always appreciate a good restaurant recommendation :)

Thank you Laura! We look forward to serve and expand the proptech community with you 🚀 Reach out and say hi to Laura at [email protected].
